Valley Drive and BBQ - Sunday, June 24th
Tues June 10th, 2007
PCA Annapolis Valley Tour III
OK folks the time is getting close, Sunday, June 24th, rain or shine we'll have the third Valley Tour. We'll meet at Vaughn's Petro Canada Station, Windsor, off exit 5A of Highway 101. We'll leave Vaughn's Petro Canada at 11:00 AM sharp so please leave enough time to get there and have the necessary pit stop so we can get going on time. The route will take just about an hour and forty five minutes, not counting the stop at Blomidon. We can spend as little or as much time as we want at Blomidon Provincial Park. We'll end the drive at Greg Payne's in Port Williams for a BBQ and BS session.
We have done the tour in a bit of a rally style. We will have direction sheets which plot the route from the morning meeting to the BBQ. We will be trying to keep everyone together, but if anyone wishes to travel at their own speed, the directions should help. It's all for fun. Please let us know if you are planning on attending so we can plan for food at the BBQ. If anyone has 2 way radios please bring them to allow the convoy to keep in contact. Everyone cross their fingers for sunshine!

Acadia Track Daze - Canceled
Tues June 10th, 2007
Hi Gang,
As of Tuesday's (June 5th) meeting, this year's driving school is officially canceled.
There were a couple of ideas we explored over the past week before we made the go/no-go decision. We needed at least 17 people to move forward with the event and we had 11. Unfortunately, the last ditch ideas did not pan out and we were several participants short of the absolute minimum to make it financially and logistically viable. Even if it were financially viable, I cannot justify holding an event that requires more people to run than are participating. We are not alone in having trouble getting participants as from all reports other clubs are finding fewer than half the usual number of registrants.
With regrets,
Colin MacKenzie

Mt Tremblant Porsche DEW Trip in Sept (10 & 11)
Mon May 7th, 2007
Stuart Blair and Jim Bradshaw, accompanied by their wives, Carol and Jane, are going to the 2 day driving school at Tremblant on Sept 10 &
11, 2007. This is an open invite from Stuart to anyone who wants to travel with them, they are more than welcome to do so.
It would be great if we could get a group of Acadian region PCA folks to all be at the driving school together.
Once we find out who would like to go, we can meet to work out some type of scheduling, if some
folks would like to travel together. If people want to go to the track but travel alone or with others that's fine too.
If anyone is interested in going up with Jim and Stuart to Tremblant in September, please contact Stuart at cands@ns.sympatico.ca.
The Rennsport web site is now open to register for the September and other various events.
